Two game modes are introduced in World War 3. The game is characterized by high realism, which includes the so-called "body awareness", the driving model and the need to coordinate with other players, as well as ballistics thanks to cooperation with specialists, the authors managed to faithfully reflect the authentic interaction of bullets with armor, and the weight of vehicles and equipment. A simple rule applies here - if something is possible to change in the real world, it is also possible in World War 3. In case of equipment we are talking about the selection of clothing and camouflage, skins, paintings and accessories for weapons and tactical equipment. The authors give us an extensive arsenal of weapons and gadgets and a wide range of vehicles we can not only use them on the battlefield, but also modify them in various ways, thus adapting them to individual preferences and current needs. In World War 3, released on the PC, we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The way individual armies fare on the battlefield determines the fate of the entire conflict, influencing the shape of the ever-changing front line. Players take sides in the conflict (as Polish or Russian soldiers) and fight for victory on maps based on real locations such as Warsaw, Moscow, Berlin or Smolensk.
The action of World War 3 takes place in an alternative version of modern reality, after the outbreak of World War III. Initially, World War 3 was announced as a free-to-play game, but finally its authors decided to make it a standard, paid title moreover, we will not experience pay-to-win solutions or lootboxes here.
As an interesting fact, it should be added that the gmae evolved from the project revealed in 2014, which was formerly created on behalf of OBRUM (a research and development center associated with the Polish Defense Holding).
